Meet the Team

Geoff Weber

Attorney, Managing Partner

Geoff Weber is the Founder and Managing Partner of Weber Law, P.C. His clients appreciate both his extensive large firm experience and his calm, efficient, business-minded practicality. Geoff’s experience centers around mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital transactions, and securities issuances. He has extensive experience in capital raising and funding entities ranging in size from startups to multinational corporations, with most clients being well-managed technology or consumer products companies experiencing (or anticipating) rapid growth.

Most clients engage Geoff for one of two reasons: either they need his specific expertise for an acquisition or a financing transaction, or they find great value in his practical, efficient style as retained outside general counsel. That common sense approach to practicing law is rooted in Geoff’s experience as the owner or manager of several businesses over the last 25 years or so, dating back to his undergraduate years at Wharton. Geoff’s experience running businesses spans several industries, including not only law, but also industries as varied as advertising, delivery services, publishing, and even house painting. (Do not ask him to paint a house, as he has retired from that industry.)

Geoff is well-known among Philadelphia entrepreneurs from events around the community. He is a frequently invited speaker on topics related to business law and entrepreneurship and he often serves as a judge or a mentor for business plan and pitch competitions. He also serves as the President of the Delran Education Foundation, which raises money to support innovative educational programs, and volunteers his time with other worthy organizations, including providing pro bono legal office hours and advisory services for some of the clinics offered for startups in the Philadelphia area.

He’ll tell you that he left the big firm environment years ago for a more balanced lifestyle. He’s still working on the whole work/life balance thing, but when he’s not assisting clients or running his own business, you’ll usually find Geoff with his wife and their three children, probably either driving one of his kids to a rehearsal or playing board games at home.

Erica Pistorino

Attorney

Erica is an optimistic wordsmith with a keen interest in working alongside founders and innovators to form meaningful businesses and navigate a range of daily operational decisions.  With a focus on general corporate representation, facilitating debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, and corporate governance and maintenance, Erica is a steadfast advocate who is naturally curious about what makes your business tick and enthusiastic about collaborating with you to provide pragmatic legal support to your evolving endeavors.

Drawn to the natural beauty and beaches of Rhode Island, Erica attended both college and law school there, where she spent the first ten years of her career developing a reputation for formulating practical and creative solutions to legal problems to help founders realize growth. Because she is often outside general counsel to her clients, Erica has significant experience preparing and negotiating many forms of contracts, including NDAs, advisor agreements, employment offer letters, and more.

Outside of practicing law, Erica volunteers with her local pro bono collaborative and a community organization known as the Jonnycake Center. In her free time, Erica is an avid yogi, amateur gardener, and mystery book enthusiast who can be found alongside her husband chasing after their energetic rescue dog, Oscar, and their young son.
